Vivian Shi, MD
Undergraduate: University of California, Los Angeles
Medical School: University of Maryland
Vivian was originally from Connecticut before her family made the big move to sunny southern California. Since then, she has been slowly making her way back to the east coast. She majored in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology at UCLA, followed by medical school at University of Maryland. Her passion lies in teaching and enhancing community health literacy.
In her spare time, she loves arts and theatre and can probably recite the entirety of Hamilton on demand. Brown was the perfect choice for her residency for innumerable reasons but what stood out most was the warmth and camaraderie she felt from the residents, faculty and administration.
Post-residency plans: Fellowship in Nephrology (Adult & Pediatric), Stanford University
