Katrina Byrd, MD
Dr. Byrd is currently a combined Adult and Pediatric Infectious Disease fellow at Lifespan/Brown University. Prior to moving to Providence, she completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and medical school at Meharry Medical College. She is passionate about infectious diseases and shares her knowledge with rotating learners and on Instagram. She is an active member of the Brown Minority Housestaff Association (BMHA) and serves as the 2020-2021 co-president. In the future, she plans to use the skills and knowledge gained at Brown to be an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
