Jerry Larkin, MD

Dr. Larkin is an infectious disease physician here at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. After completing his residency and chief resident year at Baystate, he went to Dartmouth to complete fellowship training. He is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics as well as adult infectious disease. He then moved to Rhode Island where he is a clinical assistant professor of medicine and co-director of the pediatric HIV Clinic at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Larkin has received numerous awards for teaching including multiple Dean’s Teaching Awards from Brown University. He has authored multiple publications and book chapters including articles on ticks, tick-related illnesses and Lyme disease in children and pregnant women. He is actively involved in advising for students, residents and fellows.
