Dana Guyer, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine, Clinician Educator Track

Dr. Guyer is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics and palliative medicine. Dr. Guyer received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. She remained at Vanderbilt for her residency in Med-Peds as well as her palliative care fellowship. She worked as a primary care physician on Martha’s Vineyard for three years prior to coming to Brown. She works in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine as a palliative care consultant and as the division head of Palliative and Supportive Oncology at the Lifespan Cancer Institute. Her clinical and research interests include palliative care for hematology and oncology patients, including early integration of palliative care into the routine care of cancer patients, and palliative care education.
